About this tool
Printable Calendar Maker lays out a proper paper calendar for any year, starting in any month. Choose month pages, one month to a sheet, or the whole year on a single page as a planner for the fridge or the office wall. Weeks can start on Monday or Sunday, ISO week numbers can run down the side, and the paper can be A4, US Letter or A3, portrait or landscape.
Seven looks are designed from scratch for this tool, from a crisp ruled grid to a bold poster, a soft botanical page, rounded playful tiles, a bare minimal sheet, a handwritten notebook and a deep midnight blue. Each one has its own fonts, which you can swap for any of sixteen bundled typefaces, and an accent colour you can change.
Make it yours with a photo on each month page, your own birthdays, anniversaries and holidays (yearly ones repeat by themselves), and a ruled notes box with your own notes. The PDF keeps every letter sharp at any size. All of it happens in your browser: your photos and dates are never uploaded, and there is no sign-up.
How to use Printable Calendar Maker
- Under Calendar, pick Month pages or Year on one page, then the year, the first month, how many months, the first day of the week and the paper.
- Under Look, choose a theme. Change the fonts or the accent colour if you like, and switch on the lined notes box.
- Add birthdays and other dates under Birthdays and events. Tick Every year for ones that repeat, or paste several at once.
- Use the preview arrows or the month buttons to visit a page, then add its photo and notes under that month’s name.
- Press Download PDF, save the page as a PNG (or every page as a ZIP of PNGs), or press Print.
A 2027 family calendar: month pages, A4 portrait, the Botanical theme, twelve photos added at once and eight birthdays. The PDF has twelve pages, each with its photo and every birthday on its day.

Tips and good to know
- Use portrait for month pages with photos, and landscape for a year planner: twelve months then sit in a four-by-three grid.
- To fill a whole year with photos quickly, open January and choose Photos for several months: the pictures go into the months in order.
- Midnight looks striking but uses a lot of ink. For home printers, pick a light theme.
- Your settings, dates and notes are remembered in this browser. Photos are not, so add them last.
Frequently asked questions
Are my photos or dates uploaded?
No. The calendar is drawn and saved inside your browser on your own device. Photos stay in the page’s memory, and your dates and notes are kept only in this browser’s storage so they are there next time.
Is it free? Is there a watermark?
Yes, it is free with no sign-up and no watermark over your photos or dates. The only visible mark is one small QR code in the bottom margin of the last page of the PDF and the printout, which opens this tool’s page; every other page is left clean. The PNG pictures carry no visible mark, only a note in the file’s details.
Does it work on a phone or offline?
Yes. The preview, settings and dates all work on a phone or tablet, and you can save the PDF straight to your files. After the page has loaded it keeps working offline; the PDF maker loads the first time you use it, so try it once while online.
Why are there no public holidays?
Because a built-in list would often be wrong. Public holidays differ between countries, states and even cities, and many move every year. Add the ones you actually have, and tick Every year for fixed dates.
How are the week numbers worked out?
They follow ISO 8601, the standard used in most of Europe: weeks run Monday to Sunday, and week 1 is the week with the year’s first Thursday. So week 1 of 2027 starts on Monday 4 January 2027. With Sunday-first weeks, each row shows the number of the Monday in it.
What happens to a birthday on 29 February?
In leap years it appears on 29 February. In other years a yearly event on that date is shown on 28 February, so it is never missed.
Will the fonts look the same in the PDF?
Yes. The letters are drawn as vector shapes from the same bundled font files the page uses, so the PDF matches the preview and prints sharply at any size, and a hidden text layer keeps it searchable. Letters a font doesn’t include, such as Chinese or emoji, are drawn as small sharp pictures instead.
