About this tool

Photo Editor is a private darkroom in your browser. Twelve sliders cover the everyday jobs: brighten a dull indoor shot, bring back a bright sky, warm up a cold photo, or add a gentle vignette and grain. For finer control there are tone curves, as in professional editors, and a colour mixer that changes one colour at a time, so you can deepen a blue sky without touching skin.

Start from one of 13 filters such as Film, Golden or Noir if you prefer, and set its strength. When you find a look you like, save it under a name and reuse it on any photo later. Add a whole holiday folder and the same edit is saved onto every photo, downloaded together as one ZIP.

All the work happens on your device, on your graphics chip, so the sliders stay smooth. Saving redraws each photo at full resolution. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account or watermark, and hidden camera details (EXIF, including location) are not copied into the new files.

How to use Photo Editor

  1. Tap “Choose photos”, drop one or many on the box, or paste one. Use “Add photos” to bring in more later.
  2. Drag the sliders on “Adjust”. On “Curves”, press the line to add a point and drag it; on “Colour”, pick a colour and move its Hue, Saturation or Lightness.
  3. Try a look on “Filters”, set “Filter strength”, and press “Save look” to keep your settings. Use “Crop” to turn, flip or trim.
  4. Press “Compare” to see before and after. “Undo” and “Redo” step through every change.
  5. Choose a format under “Save as”, press “Save photo” (or “Save all 5 photos”), then “Download photo” or “Download ZIP”.
Example

Twenty beach photos: Exposure +20, an S-shaped curve for contrast, Blues saturation +30, the Film filter at 50%. “Save all 20 photos” gives one ZIP of full-size JPGs, each named like beach-01-edited.jpg.

Features

  • Light: Exposure, Brightness, Contrast, Highlights and Shadows. Colour: Saturation, Vibrance, Warmth and Tint. Detail: Sharpness, Vignette and Grain.
  • Tone curves for all channels together or red, green and blue alone, with the photo’s brightness spread (histogram) drawn behind, plus four quick curves.
  • Colour mixer with eight bands (reds, oranges, yellows, greens, aquas, blues, purples, magentas): shift each one’s hue, saturation and lightness. Greys are left alone.
  • 13 filters, each with a strength slider and a preview made from your own photo.
  • My looks: save up to 24 named looks (sliders, curves, colours and filter) in this browser and apply them with one tap.
  • Batch: up to 50 photos get the same edit and download as one ZIP. Tap a thumbnail to preview the edit on that photo.
  • Turn, flip, and centred crops to 1:1, 4:5, 3:2, 16:9 or 9:16.
  • Undo and redo for every change (⌘Z / Ctrl+Z, and ⇧⌘Z / Ctrl+Y), and a before/after divider.
  • Opens JPG, PNG, HEIC, WebP, AVIF, TIFF, GIF, BMP, SVG and ICO; saves JPG, PNG or WebP at full resolution.

Tips and good to know

  • Small moves look best. A gentle S-curve (the “More contrast” button) adds punch without the harshness of Contrast +80.
  • In the colour mixer, Oranges covers most skin tones. Lower its saturation a little if faces look too red.
  • Looks don’t include turning or cropping, so one look suits portrait and landscape photos alike. They stay in this browser: clearing site data removes them.
  • In a batch, crops are centred on each photo, so check a few thumbnails before saving.
  • For photos, JPG at quality 85–92 looks the same as PNG and is far smaller.
  • A photo larger than your device can draw at once is scaled down to fit, and the tool tells you when that happens.

Frequently asked questions

Are my photos uploaded to a server?

No. Photos are opened and edited by your own browser, on your device. They are never sent to AroraTools or anyone else.

Is it free? Is there a watermark or a limit?

It is free, with no sign-up and no watermark. You can edit up to 50 photos in one batch, as often as you like.

Does it work on my phone, and offline?

Yes, on iPhone and Android: drag the sliders and curve with your finger. The page needs the internet to load, but the editing happens on your phone.

How do I edit lots of photos the same way?

Choose several photos at once, or press “Add photos”. Edit the one shown, then press “Save all” to get every photo with that edit in one ZIP.

What are curves, and how do I use them?

A curve maps how bright each tone becomes. Drag a point up to brighten that tone, down to darken it. An S shape adds contrast; lifting the bottom-left corner gives a faded film look.

Where are my saved looks kept?

In this browser’s own storage on your device, never online. They are there next time you visit in the same browser, unless you clear this site’s data.

Does it keep my photo’s location and camera details?

No. Each saved file is a fresh picture, so hidden EXIF details such as GPS location, camera model and date are left out.
